Body Champ BF700 Review
The Body Champ BF700 Deluxe Cycle Trainer isn’t for those who like to see their exercise equipment come packed with a range of technological features. While it doesn’t come packed with a whole lot of bells and whistles, well, actually, none to be exact, it is unrivaled in delivering a comfortable and effective cardiovascular workout while simultaneously building upper body strength.
Table of Contents
The Body Champ BF700 is a very well-constructed piece of equipment, which is just one of the many reasons that explains its popularity. Many bikes, even the more expensive ones, use rectangular frame tubing rather than rounded frame tubing. The problem with this is that it not only makes a bike look unattractive but it also adds to the bulkiness of the machine. Whereas, rounded frame tubing ensures a sleek, elegant appearance in addition to a more lifelike cycling experience.
The body of the bike has been constructed entirely from heavy gauge metal tubes, which further adds to the durability and stability of the bike.
Apart from its workout effectiveness and build-quality, the other area in which the Body Champ BF700 Deluxe Cycle Trainer really excels is in its comfort.
The wide, generously padded seat is not only comfortable and easier on the knees than many other bikes, but it is also fully adjustable, both vertically and horizontally; all you need to do is pull out the spring loaded knobs and then move them either up or down. Therefore, whatever your height, you should be able to find a comfortable riding position.
Couple the seat with the way in which the handlebars and pedals are positioned, and you can expect to enjoy a comfortable workout.
Exercise bikes are purchased for their effectiveness in delivering cardiovascular exercise and for targeting the lower body. With the BF700, you get the opportunity to target the upper body thanks to the handlebars, as they have been designed in a way to build upper body strength as you cycle.
Other features of the Body Champ BF700 Deluxe Cycle Trainer include the direct-drive 30 lb flywheel, which is heavy enough to ensure a controlled, stable, smooth riding motion. Yet, despite it’s heaviness, it is still quiet when in operation.
There are a range of tension levels that can easily be adjusted with a quick couple turns of the tension knob, which do a good job of challenging you and keeping your workout interesting.
A water bottle holder is also included, so you can refresh yourself during a tough workout.
The Body Champ BF700 is backed by a 5-year frame, 2-year parts and 90-day upholstery warranty.
38.4 x 22.2 x 50 inches
The BF700 seems to be well-liked by consumers, with users pointing to the bike’s construction quality, ease of assembly, comfort and workout effectiveness as its strong points. However, users have found a couple of things to complain about.

There is very little to complain about, which attests to the BF700’s quality. However, the brake pad and handlebars could do with being a little more robust; although this shouldn’t be a problem for most, particularly if you tend to treat your possessions with care.
Anything Else You Should Know?
All you need to know is that the Body Champ BF700 is a very welcome addition to the low-priced exercise bike range (the Body Champ BRM3671 is also worth a look at particularly as it is a dual trainer). We would even say that it is a contender to being the best budget exercise bike on the market thanks to its stylish design, build-quality, reliability, workout effectiveness, and what is usually a rarity for an exercise bike – comfort.
