CycleOps 100 Pro Indoor Cycle Review

The CycleOps 100 Pro Indoor Cycle is a gym-quality resistance trainer that comes with a hefty 48-pound flywheel. The heavier the flywheel, the smoother and more natural the pedaling motion, and the 100 Pro is no exception, delivering that popular true road bike feel. The CycleOps’s road-style handlebars shouldn’t be overlooked either, as they certainly play their part too (Aero-style handlebars are available for purchase separately).

Besides the 100 Pro’s smooth pedaling motion, there are several other things it has going for it. One of these is its precise resistance control which lets you change the intensity level to better suit your fitness goals and fitness level.  We quite like the CycleOps 100 freewheeling hub, as you are able to stop pedaling and coast whenever your pace dictates to recover between efforts as well.

The four points of micro adjustment to duplicate the fit of your outdoor bike, and stable platform for sprinting workouts for hill climbs are other welcome features, adding to the bike’s popularity.

It’s also worth noting that the saddle and pedals can be swapped out for a more customized ride if you prefer, which we feel is a nice touch, and the 100 Pro is a good choice if more than one person in your household is looking to use a resistance trainer, due to its easy adjustability.

The 100 Pro also comes with a dual capacity water bottle holder, and is backed by a lifetime frame, 3-year mechanical components and 1-year electrical components warranty.

CycleOps 100 Pro Indoor Cycle User Reviews

The CycleOps 100 Pro Indoor Cycle has been met with positive reviews since its release. Users have pointed to the bike’s easy assembly process, true road bike feel, aesthetically pleasing design, quiet operation, and comfort as its strengths. One user, however, feels that the resistance band is too narrow and that the freewheeling feels “too clunky” when standing.
