Despite its relatively high price, the Diamondback Fitness 510Sr is the company’s entry level bike, and is much more reasonably priced than Diamondback’s other models. However, despite the lower price, you are still getting the same generous warranty, durability and many of the same features for around $300 less.

Programs & Resistance Levels
One of the best things about the 510Sr, and Diamondback exercise equipment in general, is the range of workout programs and resistance levels their machines come equipped with. In total, the 510Sr comes with 20 programs and 16 levels of resistance, which do an excellent job of catering to the young and old, fit and unfit, and beginner and experienced cyclist alike.
Both the resistance and programs are controlled digitally, so there is no need for you to frustratingly interrupt your workout when you need more or less of a challenge.
The 510Sr also comes with Target Heart Rate programs that work in line with your heart rate. In other words, you can work out in your target heart rate zone without ever deviating from it.
The seat on the Diamondback Fitness 510Sr has a generous amount of padding, which results in a comfortable cycling experience. The seat is also adjustable, both vertically and horizontally, so you can find a position that works for you, regardless of your height.
Furthermore, the seat’s back can be adjusted vertically, again, to accommodate all riders, and does a good job of taking pressure off the back and minimizing any strain felt in the joints.
The 510Sr has built-in MP3 and iPod connectivity, as well as a pair of speakers which are mounted on the console. The sound quality of the speakers is surprisingly good, but the sound can get a bit tinny at times. However, this should be okay unless you truly are an audiophile.
The console is both easy-to-operate and intuitive, primarily thanks to the QuickSet programming which allows you to set and start your workout at a touch of a button. The LCD display is easy-to-read and the readings are accurate. The console can also be tilted for a customized fit.
When you compare Diamondback bikes to other models in the same price range, you will find that bikes produced by Diamondback tend to be heavier and thus more stable. The Diamondback Fitness 510Sr is no exception, weighing in at 125 pounds. This also results in a maximum user weight capacity of 300 pounds, making the 510Sr a good bike for larger users who want to get in shape.
Other features include a multi-speed adjustable cooling fan which delivers a cool breeze to your core to help you keep going during a tough workout; a magazine rack to keep your mind off the intensive workout you are undergoing; and an on-board water bottle and holder so you can refresh yourself while you work out.
This bike comes with a lifetime frame and brake, 3-year parts and electronics, 1-year labor and 90-day wear items warranty, which is the same warranty as the recently released Diamondback Fitness 510Ic.
64 x 23 x 50
Since its release, the Diamondback 510Sr has received mostly positive reviews, with users praising the comfort of the seat, the range of resistance settings and workout programs, as well as the build quality of the machine.

As mentioned, this is one of the very few pieces of exercise equipment, exercise bike or otherwise, that has nothing to complain about. If we had to find something to complain about, though, we would say that it would have been nice if the assembly process was a bit easier.
Anything Else You Should Know?
All you need to know is that with the Diamondback Fitness 510Sr you are getting a lot of bang for your buck. You are getting the durability and construction quality that Diamondback are renowned for, in addition to an excellent warranty and a range of technological features.
Furthermore, the extras – in the form of the speakers and fan – are very welcome. We would even go as far to say that this is the best sub $1,000 exercise bike on the market, recumbent or otherwise.
