The Diamondback Fitness 910Sr Recumbent Exercise Bike is undoubtedly one of the most feature packed and technologically advanced exercise bikes on the market, recumbent or otherwise. For starters, it comes with an impressive 35 workout programs, 32 levels of resistance, and on-board speakers, not to mention a built-in media center.
With 35 workout programs at your disposal it’s almost a certainty that you will be able to find a program that is in line with your workout goals. For example, there are heart-rate-controlled training, custom user programs, weight-loss, endurance, fitness test and many other programs to choose from.
The same applies to the 32 resistance levels, with the highest resistance level providing an incredibly challenging workout that even pro athletes would struggle with.
As the 910Sr is a recumbent bike it was always going to be more comfortable to use than traditional, upright exercise bikes, particularly with its step-through design and coddling seat. However, there are a few things that come into play to further enhance the comfort of your workout.
The handlebars, well-padded seat, and console can all be adjusted so you can find a position that works for you. Just like the seat, the armrests are cushioned, and there are also cooling fans with a SmartFan feature which is able to automatically adjust the speed based on your workout intensity.
It’s also nice to see that a foldout magazine rack, water bottle and holder, and built-in media center with an iPad, iPhone, and iPod docking station, and on-board speakers are included, although the speakers don’t offer the best sound quality.
The LCD computer display features QuickSet, one-touch program keys, and is oversized and easy to read, providing you with feedback on a wide range of information, including time, distance, speed, program, resistance level, calories burned and more.
Your pulse is also recorded in one of two ways – either via the heart rate contact sensors (place your hands on the grips to obtain a reading), or the Polar compatible wireless heart rate receiver, with the latter being more accurate.
A couple of other things worth noting include just how quiet the 910Sr is in operation – almost silent, in fact – and how the pedaling motion feels smooth and lifelike for a true road bike feel, with the added benefit of putting less strain on the joints.
The 910Sr measures 64 x 23 x 50 inches, has a maximum user weight capacity of 325 pounds, and is backed by a generous warranty – lifetime on the frame and brakes, 3 years on the parts and electronics, 1 year on labor, and 90 days on wear items, which is even better than the warranty for the popular Diamondback Fitness 510Sr.

Many say that the 910Sr is quiet in operation: “I really like the smooth and quiet ride,” “It is extremely quiet which I love,” “shocked at how quiet it is.”
