Exerpeutic LX9 Super High Capacity Training Cycle with Computer Review

The first thing to say about the Exerpeutic LX 9 is that it comes with a 40-pound flywheel, which is impressive in this price range. Typically, the heavier the flywheel the smoother and more natural the pedaling motion, and the LX9’s cast iron chrome flywheel doesn’t disappoint. The solid 3 piece crank system also plays its part and helps keep noise to a minimum when pedaling. It also helps simulate that true road bike feel, similar to riding a bike outdoors.

The LX9 is comfortable to use thanks to its cushioned ergonomic seat that can be adjusted forwards and backwards and up and down. The handlebars can be adjusted upwards and downwards and lock into 6 different positions, and the aluminum alloy pedals employ secure toe cages and adjustable safety straps. We also feel that the elbow support pads are a nice touch. All of these things contribute to a comfortable workout experience and results in a bike that can even challenge higher-end models in regards to comfort.

The computer monitor is basic yet effective, which seems to be the case with all of Exerpeutic’s bikes – take the Exerpeutic 250XL, for example –  providing users with all the workout stats they would want to know, such as distance, time, speed, calories burned, and pulse via the contact heart rate grips. It’s also refreshing to see that the LCD display is easy to read despite not being very big.

A couple of other things worth mentioning include the water bottle holder, but particularly the ability to pedal both forwards and backwards, as this allows you to work out different muscle groups without needing to purchase additional exercise equipment.

The Exerpeutic features transport wheels for easy relocation, is backed by a 1-year warranty, and can support users up to 325 lbs.

EXERPEUTIC LX9 USER REVIEWS

Although there aren’t currently many reviews to the LX9’s name, the response so far has been positive. Users point to the bike’s design, seat and sturdiness as its strengths. There have been no complaints, although this may have changed since we last looked.
