Nautilus is brought to you by the same people who manufacture some of the most prominent nmaes in the industry such as Bowflex, Schwinn and Stairmaster. Considering that Nautilus is one of the biggest players in the market, they are able to offer consumers quality machines at good prices.
Adjustable Stride – An adjustable stride is a very handy thing to have at your disposal, as it doesn’t matter if you are short or tall, because the stride will automatically be adjusted to fit your individual stride. Therefore, if more than one person is planning on exercising then Nautilus machines are a good choice.
Space-Saving Design – A large footprint is so often the case with higher end ellipticals that we rarely expect to see anything different. However, Nautilus machines are indeed different, as their front drive design results in more compact machines, often coming in at a foot shorter than other models.
Smooth & Natural Stride – This is one area where Nautilus really excel. To put it simply, less strain is put on the knees and joints, as your heel is supported throughout the movement of your stride.
Heavy – In spite of Nautilus’ machines compactness, they still appear to be heavy, which is down to the high quality materials used in the manufacturing process. You should therefore not be planning on moving one of the machines any time soon, or at least not without help.
Expensive – While Nautilus has released some very reasonably priced models as of late, many of their machines are quite pricey due to coming equipped with luxury features. If you don’t need these features then your best bet may be to look at cheaper alternatives.
