The Proform 14.0 CE Elliptical trainer is a slightly older model of this company’s elliptical machine. However, it may still be a machine that many people may want to consider as it is well built with a solid steel frame and comfortable oversized pedals. The stride length is about in the medium stride range of about 18 inches and it does have several resistance levels and preset workout programs. However, we don’t like the idea that many of the workout programs are dependent on users having to join IFit and we that the short warranty on both labor and parts could be improved upon.
This elliptical trainer should be fairly comfortable for the average user as it has nice oversized cushioned foot pedals a fan and is stable. Moreover it can easily be folded and conventiently be stored (in small places, too) as you can see here.
The Proform 14.0 CE elliptical is IFit and WIFI compatible with 16 different preset workout programs.
There are 14 CE resistance levels for the 14.0
Lifetime on frame and 1 year on parts and labor
measures 79 4/5” X 27” X 66 1/5”
designed for users who weigh 300 pounds or less
Reviews and ratings for the Proform 14.0 CE Elliptical Trainer are good. Users find that this trainer is easy to assemble although it does take most users a couple of hours to get the entire machine assembled. Once assembled it is extremely sturdy even for those who take running strides, The foot pedals are plenty large and extremely comfortable and users don’t have to worry about their feet sliding off the pedals during a workout. The vast majority of users do find that this elliptical is easy on the both the knee and hip joints.
Users have two main complaints about the Proform 14.0 CE. The first complaint is the fact that in order to access all the present programs they need to register with IFit. While the monthly charge they pay to IFit is less than a gym membership, it still adds up to a good chunk of change by the end of the year. Without registering with IFit, the workout programs are limited.
The second complaint is in regards to the include cooling off fan that is built in the elliptical. Not only do users find this fan loud, but they also state it much too small to actually do any cooling at all.

Overall, the Proform 14.0 is a sturdily built elliptical machine that will suit the basic needs of most people who choose to workout at home. However, the lack of challenging incline levels combined with the limited number of workout options for those who don’t wish to register with IFit, may cause many people to pass over this machine for one that better meets their needs.
