18” Stride – While it’s true that there are other manufacturers that offer longer strides, they sure don’t come at this price. Similarly priced ellipticals often come with a maximum stride length of 16”; however, Schwinn beats this with their 18” strides
Highly Rated – If you are in two minds about purchasing one of Schwinn’s ellipticals, all you have to do is Google one of their models to see how highly regarded they are. A quick look at Amazon will tell you that the company’s machines score highly in durability, reliability and workout effectiveness.
Very Good Warranty – Compared to similarly priced ellipticals, Schwinn’s machines are backed by better warranties, with the average being 15-30 years on frames, 2-3 years on parts, 1-2 years on electronics and 6 months-1 year on labor/wear items.
Comfort – The biggest factor affecting comfort on Schwinn’s models is articulating footplates, which provide support for the heels while following the natural motion of the feet. This results in a smooth and comfortable workout experience.
Lack of Technological Features – Although it’s worth noting that a lack of technological features is the norm for the more inexpensive ellipticals on the market, a few more programs, along with speakers and an incline function would be appreciated.
