Workout Experience

Considering the Stamina CPS 9300 comes with a heavy duty flywheel, weighing 40 lbs., you would naturally think that the pedaling motion would feel smooth and deliver that true road bike feel. Well, you would also be correct in your thinking, and this is arguably the best aspect of the bike, with the weighted flywheel building up speed similar to an outdoor bike would.

The bike’s quiet operation is also a plus, which is down to the well-designed belt drive and smooth, quiet pedal bearings. There are also a wide range of tension adjustments, making this particular spin bike from Stamina suitable for all fitness levels.

Comfort

If you’ve ever used a spin bike before then you know that they aren’t exactly the most comfortable pieces of exercise equipment around. The same applies to the Stamina CPS 9300, to an extent. The seat, as expected, is uncomfortable, so you will probably want to purchase a gel seat cover to go along with the bike.

However, at least the seat can be adjusted both horizontally and vertically to cater to all body types; the non-slip adjustable, black, textured handlebars feature a decent, albeit not overly so, amount of padding; and the toe cage is adjustable for upward as well as downward resistance.

Perhaps most importantly, though, the bike is well-constructed and sturdy enough not to wobble when you cycle (the maximum user weight capacity does stand at 300 lbs. after all), and the same applies to the handlebars. The included water bottle holder is also a nice touch.

Computer MonitorStamina CPS 9300 Computer Monitor

Similar to other spin bikes, the Stamina CPS 9300 comes with an easy-to-read LCD display that tracks distance, time, speed, and calories burned or you can also set it to scan and track all readouts. Surprisingly, there is no heart rate monitoring device, so you have to purchase one separately if you want to measure your pulse as you cycle.

Warranty

The CPS 9300 is backed by a 3-year frame and 90-day parts warranty.

Stamina CPS 9300 User Reviews

The reviews for the Stamina CPS 9300 have so far all been positive. Users point to the bike’s ease of assembly, quiet operation, smooth and effective workout, and the company’s customer service as its main strengths. Users have also said that the seat is uncomfortable.

Any Complaints?

We have three complaints. We’re a little disappointed that a heart rate monitor is not included. We suppose that you can pick one up quite cheaply these days, but we still expected this Stamina bike to come with one. We also feel that the warranty is on the short side and the seat is a bit too uncomfortable.

Anything Else You Should Know?

The CPS 9300 measures 44 x 19 x 44 inches and wheels can be found on the bottom of the bike for easy relocation. Besides this, as one user puts it, “Gym-quality bike at a great price.”
