The Weslo Pro CTX is an entry-mid level spin bike. Its strengths lies in its construction quality, thoughtful design, smooth pedaling motion, and adjustable settings. While there is little to complain about, there are a couple of thing that you should be aware of.
The weight of an exercise bike’s flyhweel, whether that be a typical upright bike, semi-recumbent or recumbent model, or spin bike, typically determines how smooth the pedaling motion will be. The Weslo comes with a 30 lb flywheel, thereby delivering a smooth, comfortable ride, and generally more realistic biking experience.
The chain drive system further results in a more realistic biking experience, and the quick-stop braking system allows you to start and stop at any time, eliminating the need to wait for the pedals to stop rotating.
The Weslo Pro CTX uses a felt resistance system to change the intensity of your workout. All that is required is turning the adjustment knob to tailor your workout to be as challenging or as simply as you want it to be. We’re pleased to report that the highest resistance setting will easily provide a very challenging workout for those who feel they are in peak physical condition.
One of the strenghts of the Pro CTX is its wide range of adjustable settings. The seat can be adjusted both vertically and horizontally with a simple turn of the adjustment knob. The pedals feature toe cages and straps to ensure that you are stably and safely locked into position.
The multi-grip handlebars, designed for support and to reduce fatigue, can also be adjusted to provide a comfortable cycling experience relative to your height. The elbow pads should not be overlooked either. One caveat, though, is how the seat isn’t very comfortable. A water bottle holder is included.
The Weslo Pro CTX is backed by a 3-year frame and 90-day parts and labor warranty, which is much better than other models from the company, such as the Weslo Pursuit R 3.2.

Weslo Pro CTX User Reviews
A number of users are surprised at just how well-constructed the bike is, due to its heavy duty parts. For example, one user who weighs 320 lbs is able to use the bike just fine, whereas others have said that the bike is very stable and doesn’t wobble in the slightest. The Weslo’s value for money has impressed some, with one user saying that it is “comparable to the gym class bikes.” The bike appears to be easy to assemble.
Users seem to have little to complain about, although a few users feel that the seat is uncomfortable, and one user doesn’t like how the handlebars can’t be adjusted very high.

The seat will likely be uncomfortable for first time spin bike users, although this is typically of spin bikes. If you want a more comfortable workout experience, you will either have to purchase a gel seat cover for $10-15 or look at recumbent bike models.
Anything Else You Should Know?
As long as you’re aware that spin bikes are typically more uncomfortable than other models and are either willing to get used to it or purchase a gel seat cover, then the Pro CTX is certainly worth a look at, especially as this price.
