Xterra
Xterra Elliptical Trainer ReviewsXterra elliptical trainers are manufactured by the same company, Dayco, which design and manufacture Spirit and Sole ellipticals. Xterra machines, though, tend to be cheaper and cater to the sub $1,000 consumer, although they are just as well-built as their sister machines.

Pros

Table of Contents

Heavy Flywheels – As Xterra machines often feature heavier than average flywheels, the stride motion feels smoother and more natural, resulting in a more comfortable workout.

Stable – Each machine has a stable feel to it, one that isn’t going to wobble from side to side when in use anytime soon. The downside to this, however, is that the machines are harder to move around.

Front Drive Design – Both front and rear drive systems have their pros and cons, but if you’re looking for a compact elliptical that is easy to mount and dismount than Xterra ellipticals tick all the right boxes.

Incline – As all Xterra models offer users the ability to incline the elliptical motion, you are able to work out different lower body muscles and are provided with a more intense cardio burn.

Cons

Display – Xterra machines tend to feature non backlit displays, which means that you should exercise in a well-lit room at all times.
