[wptab name=’Our Analysis’]

The Bladez Fitness Master Indoor Training Cycle features a heavier than average flywheel, weighing in at 40 pounds, a belt-drive system, which explains why it makes minimal noise when in operation, a highly adjustable seat and handlebars, in addition to a computer monitor, which is a rarity for spin bikes.

The Bladez Fitness PTS68 comes with a whopping 40-pound flywheel, which is a good 9 pounds heavier than the flywheel on the Bladez Fitness Aero PRO, resulting in a very smooth, consistent lifelike pedaling motion, yet is still quiet in operation. As the flywheel is belt-driven this also results in the bike generating a minimal amount of noise. Handy if you like to watch T.V or listen to music as you exercise.

Computer Monitor

The computer monitor displays calories burned, distance, speed, time, RPMs and pulse, although the pulse and calories burned readings are somewhat off.

Spin bikes are usually the least comfortable type of bike, and usually tend to be nowhere near as comfortable as recumbent models. While the Bladez Fitness Master Indoor Training Cycle can’t compete with recumbent models, it still offers quite a comfortable workout experience.

It’s true that the anatomically designed seat could be a bit more padded (although a gel seat cover for $15-20 should fix this), but we love how the seat and racing-style handlebars are micro adjustable, allowing anyone, regardless of their stature, to get into a comfortable riding position.

Due to coming with transport wheels, moving and storing the 105-pound Bladez bike is made much easier.

The Bladez Fitness PTS68 is backed by a 5-year frame, 1-year parts and 90-day labor warranty.

Bladez Fitness Master Indoor Training Cycle User Reviews

According to users, the Bladez Fitness Master Indoor Training Cycle is very well constructed, with one person stating that it is “solid as a rock.” A number of users like just how quiet the bike is when in operation, which is down to its belt-driven system. The bike’s excellent value for money, according to both a spinning instructor and other users, is another widely cited advantage to this model.

However, customer service seems to be mixed (positive experience / negative experience), although if you purchase from Amazon then this doesn’t seem to an issue, according to those who ran into a couple of problems

Any Complaints?

The only thing to complain about is the accuracy of the computer monitor. For example, the heart reading is a bit off, as is the number of calories burned, although this is expected considering that you aren’t asked to input your weight and height before you start exercising.

Anything Else You Should Know?

If you’re on a budget yet are looking for a well-constructed, quiet exercise bike that also offers that true road bike feel, then this model is worth a second look at.
