The Weslo Pursuit R 3.2 is a low priced entry in the ever expanding recumbent exercise bike market. Due to its low price, it doesn’t come with a lot of bells and whistles but is certainly good enough for anyone looking to exercise in the comfort of their own home.

The Weslo R 3.2 has a recumbent seat, meaning that it is more comfortable to use than traditional, upright bikes. The seat is oversized and adjustable to cater to people of all shapes and sizes, well-padded, and features lumbar support, all resulting in a comfortable user workout experience.

The Step Thru design also makes it easy to step on and off the bike, and the handlebars are ergonomically designed in order to reduce fatigue.

There are 8 built-in workout programs to choose from, all of which have been designed by a Certified Personal Trainer to cater to the various short term and long term fitness goals a user might have.

The Target Pacer, however, is the feature that we like best. To put it simply, an indicator light tells you when to speed up or slow down to reach your training goals. You are also able to customize the workout intensity to your liking by adjusting the level of magnetic resistance.

All the feedback that you would expect can be viewed, including speed, time, distance, calories burned and even your pulse via the built-in, dual-grip EKG heart grip monitor. However, none of these readings are particularly accurate, which is pretty much always the case with low-priced exercise equipment.

The Weslo R 3.2 is backed by a 90-day warranty, which we find to be a bit disappointing, weighs 113 pounds, has a maximum user weight capacity of 250 pounds, and comes equipped with transport wheels for easy mobility.

Users say that the R 3.2 is “easy to put together,” and only takes about an hour to do so, is “very quiet,” allowing you to watch TV without having to increase the volume, and is “very comfortable and easy riding.”

However, users also found a couple of things to complain about, particularly the computer monitor.
